I emphasis this because of my personal experience checking out groups to compare with what we have.

Pump and Dump: I was told about a “guy” on YouTube that showed his P/L of something like $3M with his trading program. Stock analysis, trading techniques, newsletter, the whole 9 yards. Classic pump and dump. The “Guy” is only going to analyze the stocks he is interested in or already bought. Get his paying member to buy into something he already bought and pump the price up for liquidity.

An app: Even more brilliant. The App said bring your own brokerage. The App was live trading sessions throughout the day trading multiple assets. During the day, the App would send buy suggestions, probably related to what the training sessions were talking about. The app was something like $150 a month. Perfect, people download the app, pay $150 per month, the APP buys into something, sends you an alert, “You Better Buy ……”, a certain number of the app holders will buy, creating liquidity for the APP. When the APP sees the volume starting to match the number of shares the APP holds, it will sell. The APP doesn’t even need to predict the sell price. It can tell with volume. Brilliant way to take people’s money. And to hear it defended by a user is even more amazing .

Years of college with no guarantee of employment. Even after graduation you have to get lucky to find a position that allows you to work from home and make money online. Start out with a $36,000 salary and hope for the best (education costs between $40.000 to $80.000 dollars)
